Chinese Party and Government Delegation Leaves

Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- A Chinese party and government delegation led by Li Zhanshu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Communist Party of China and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, who is a special envoy of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the C.C., CPC and president of the PRC, left here on Tuesday after visiting the DPRK to attend the celebrations of its 70th birthday at the invitation of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee and the DPRK government.

After successful Pyongyang visit with hospitality of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK, the delegation was seen off by cadres of the WPK Central Committee and employees of the Paekhwawon State Guesthouse, its lodging place, and went to Pyongyang International Airport.

The delegation was seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK; Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK; Kim Yo Jong, alternate member of the Political Bureau and first vice department director of the C.C., WPK; Kim Song Nam, first vice department director of the C.C., WPK; Vice Foreign Minister Ri Kil Song; and other party and government officials and officials concerned.

They exchanged good-byes with Li Zhanshu and leading members of the delegation.

The airplane carrying the delegation took off amid a warm send-off of masses.
