The letter said the fair was successfully held in accordance with its goal and mission thanks to the sincere efforts and cooperation of organizations of various countries, international bodies and foreign diplomatic missions in Pyongyang.

Scientific and technological successes in the world were widely introduced, experience exchanged and the issues of developing the exchange and cooperation in the field of science and technology deeply discussed during the fair, the letter said.

Now the fair contributes to achieving progress and prosperity common to mankind by boosting sci-tech exchange and cooperation and friendship among countries, the letter noted.

Expressing thanks to Kim Jong Un for his deep care and consideration for the successful fair, the letter expressed the belief that the DPRK will build a world-class sci-tech power in the near future under his wise direction.

The letter underlined the need to continue to conduct brisk sci-tech exchange and cooperation among countries and regions through the fair in the future, too.
