The president in the message extended heartfelt congratulations to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the Korean people on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

He said he was pleased that the Korean people were significantly celebrating the historic 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK whose foundation was laid by the preceding leaders and which was led by them.

He expressed the belief that the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries marking their 70th anniversary this year would grow stronger and the two countries would contribute to developing cooperation and ensuring peace and stability in the region.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the friendly Korean people prosperity and development.
