The president extended the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the government and people of the DPRK on behalf of the Mozambican government and people on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the DPRK.

He said that on this historic day he is rejoiced at achievements made by the people of the DPRK in the arduous struggle to achieve the revival and development.

He noted he is pleased that the two countries have had good relations for a long time, expressing the firm belief that the bilateral ties would grow stronger in the future, too on the basis of the history of friendship and mutual understanding.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and the people of the DPRK progress and prosperity.
