Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il meeting with Chinese leaders of the elder generation and photos showing Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's historic visits to China.

There were also works of the peerlessly great men, books and stamps introducing the DPRK and art pieces associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremonies of the exhibitions.

The executive vice-chairman of the Cultural Management Association of the Chinese Ministry of Culture and head of the House of Oriental Culture and Arts and other speakers noted that the photos of President Kim Il Sung make them look back upon the exploits he performed for the development of China-DPRK friendship. The China-DPRK friendship provided by Chairman Mao Zedong and President Kim Il Sung serves as precious heritage for the peoples of the two countries, they said, adding that the bilateral relations of friendship have entered a new high stage under the deep care of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and President Xi Jinping.

The vice-director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government said:

The Korean people overcame manifold hardships in the spirit of fortitude and won great victories under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

We believe that under the seasoned leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un the Korean people will achieve greater successes in all fields.

We will strive for the steady development of the traditional China-DPRK relations in the future, too.
