The president in the message extended the best wishes to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the people of the DPRK on the occasion of September 9, the founding anniversary of the DPRK.

He hoped in the message that the celebrations of the anniversary would bring the people of the DPRK greater happiness and instill greater patriotism into them.

Indonesia, as a friend of the DPRK, hopes for strengthening the bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation to meet the common interests in a peaceful environment.

Recently, historic meetings were held between the leaders of the north and the south of Korea and players from the north and the south took part as a single team in the 18th Asian Games 2018. This fact helped me have optimism about future when peace would come to promote the inter-Korean cooperation and expand it at an international level, the message stressed.
