Truth about Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army Revealed
Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- Jo Hui Sung, senior researcher of the Institute for Japan Studies, contributed the second installment of an article disclosing the crime of sexual slavery committed by Japan to Rodong Sinmun on Sunday.

The author in the article elaborated on the fact that Japan tapped all sorts of state power, including military, to establish the system of sexual slavery for its army. The article went on:

The Japanese military used Korea as a source of sexual slaves.

It was the government-general in Korea and the command of the Japanese army stationed in Korea that commanded and executed firsthand the crimes of kidnapping and forcibly drafting Korean women on the spot.

Under the orders of the Japanese military, the police affairs department of the government-general in Korea issued the orders to the police stations in all provinces and the latter to all counties. In this way the counties gave the orders to all sub-counties, where myon (sub-county) chiefs, district heads or village heads dragged women.

The article noted that there were not a few testimonies and memoirs offered by some Japanese people who took the lead in kidnapping and forcibly drafting Korean women.

Besides, there is a huge amount of data revealing the fact that the state power of Japan, including its military, invented and established the system of sexual slavery for its army, the article stated.
