South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration Calls for Lift of Anti-DPRK Sanctions

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- The South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference in Seoul on September 14 where it published a plan of activities for the lift of the sanctions upon the north and adoption of a declaration of termination of war state, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

The committee reportedly organized a citizens' peace delegation composed of various civic and social organizations and is going ahead with the preparations for its New York visit.

The delegation will hand a document containing the opinions of south Korean people demanding the lift of anti-north sanctions and adoption of a war-end declaration to the UN Secretariat, the committee noted.
