The symposium was held, divided into the panels of Koryo medicine, basic medicine, internal medicine, surgery, pharmacy and communicable disease control.

Among them were papers dealing with research successes and experience gained in the field of medical science.

The papers, presented by medical workers and researchers at the Korea General Red Cross Hospital, the Institute of Koryo Medicine and the Pharmacy Research Institute of the Institute of Medical Science, won a high appreciation.
