Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un together with President Moon Jae In See Grand Mass Gymnastics and Artistic Performance
Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, saw a grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance together with President Moon Jae In at the May Day Stadium on Wednesday.

Supreme Leader of the Party, state and army Kim Jong Un and his wife Ri Sol Ju appeared at the tribune of honor together with President Moon Jae In and his wife Kim Jung Sook.

The audience enthusiastically welcomed the top leaders of the north and the south.

Children presented fragrant bouquets to Kim Jong Un and his wife and Moon Jae In and his wife.

The platform were taken by Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK; Kim Yong Chol and Ri Su Yong, vice-chairmen of the C.C., WPK; Ri Yong Ho, minister of Foreign Affairs; Army General No Kwang Chol, minister of the People's Armed Forces, Kim Yo Jong, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Nung O, chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK; Ri Son Gwon, chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country; and Pak Myong Chol, director of the Secretariat and presidium member of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea.

Invited to the platform were Jong Ui Yong, chief of the State Security Office of Chongwadae, Jo Myong Gyun, minister of Unification, Kang Kyong Hwa, minister of Foreign Affairs, Song Yong Mu, minister of Defense, To Jong Hwan, minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Kim Hyon Mi, minister of Land and Transport, Kim Yong Chun, minister of Oceans and Fisheries, So Hun, director of the Intelligence Service, representatives of several political parties and other key entourage of the south side.

Foreign diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations and military attaches here and foreign guests were also present there on invitation.

Officials of ministries and national institutions and officials, working people, youths and students in Pyongyang City and overseas compatriots staying in the homeland were among the audience.

The performers presented an excellent performance characterized by beautiful and graceful rhythms, dynamic gymnastics, rich national flavor, artistic skills and ever-changing scenes of the large-scale background.

A special chapter prepared to welcome President Moon Jae In visiting Pyongyang for the historic north-south summit was presented.

The stadium was full of the atmosphere of national reconciliation and unity prevailing on the 3,000-ri land of Korea when a video which shows the scenes of the significant Panmunjom summit that marked the starting line of history in which the north and the south usher in a new era of reunification by the concerted intention and efforts of the Korean nation itself, help refresh the memory of the great significance of the April 27 declaration.

After the performance was over, Kim Jong Un made a meaningful speech.

He said that he made another fruition marking a fresh landmark in the development of the north-south ties with President Moon Jae In this time, expressing thanks to his tireless efforts.

Then, Moon Jae In conveyed his sincere gratitude to Pyongyang citizens for warmly greeting them and according cordial hospitality with compatriotic feelings and expressed his will to improve the south-north relations in an overall way and to bring earlier the peaceful future.

After they finished their speeches, thunderous cheers of "hurrah!" broke out again and fireworks were set off to beautifully decorate the nocturnal sky of September.

Waving back to the enthusiastically cheering performers and the audience, Kim Jong Un together with Moon Jae In congratulated the successful performance.
