Korean Book, Photo, Stamp and Handicraft Exhibitions Held in Russia

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Korean book, photo, stamp and handicraft exhibitions took place in Moscow, Ulan-Ude, Sankt-Peterburg, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok in the period between Sept. 3 and 16 on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's historic visit to Siberia and the Far Eastern Region of the Russian Federation, the 70th anniversaries of the birthday of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

On display at exhibitions were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and photos of them and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of the peerlessly great men, books, photos and stamps introducing the proud seven-decade long history of the DPRK and handicrafts associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremonies of the exhibitions were personages of various circles and masses in relevant regions, foreign diplomatic envoys, the DPRK ambassador to Russia and officials of missions and officials of various units working in Russia.
