The letter noted that a joint seminar on the struggle of the Workers' Party of Korea for building a socialist powerful nation was held in Rome of Italy by political parties and organizations of the European region on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The seminar praised the revolutionary careers of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who guided the building of a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence to victory, and the exploits of Kim Jong Un wisely leading the struggle to hit the higher goal of building a powerful nation and stressed the need to further strengthen solidarity with the WPK, it said.

Under the leadership of Kim Jong Un the DPRK is defending justice and peace and advancing the socialist cause, the letter said, adding:

We will as ever fully support the struggle of the WPK for building a socialist powerful nation, achieving the reunification of the country and ensuring peace and security on the Korean peninsula.

The letter sincerely wished Kim Jong Un, chairman of the WPK, new successes in his work for the victorious advance of the socialist cause.
