The "National Federation of Businessmen" stressed that the the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" for peace and common prosperity of the Korean Peninsula would make a great contribution to the improvement of mutual benefit, exchange and cooperation between the south and the north of Korea.

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry commented that the publication of the Pyongyang joint declaration would be a turning point in opening the era of peace on the Korean Peninsula. The organization expressed the will to strive for the substantial progress in the economic cooperation between the south and the north.

Other economic organizations, too, declared that they would do their best for successful implementation of the Pyongyang joint declaration and take the lead in the south-north economic exchange and development.
