Wreaths Laid at Bust of Kim Jong Suk
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were placed before the bust of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war heroine, at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on Saturday, the 69th anniversary of her demise.

Seen at the bust was a wreath sent by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Party and government officials Pak Kwang Ho, Choe Pu Il, Choe Hwi and Kim Nung O, officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), power organs, working people's organizations, ministries, teachers and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and officials of institutions and factories in the city of Pyongyang.

Also, present were No Kwang Chol and other members of armed forces organs.

Laid at the bust was a wreath in the joint name of the C.C., WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

And placed were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries, Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Party and power organs and factories in Pyongyang.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of Kim Jong Suk, recalling her revolutionary career and feats.

On the same day, floral baskets were laid at her statues in Hoeryong City, Kim Jong Suk County, Kim Jong Suk Naval University and other parts of the country.
