Screened in the festival are films of different countries reflecting the desire of mankind to lead a happy and highly civilized life in the peaceful world as well as customs, feelings and patriotism of their peoples.

Cultural houses in the city of Pyongyang including Pyongyang International Cinema House and the Taedongmun Cinema are now crowded with audience.

Feature films of China, Russia, Iran and India are popular among the audience.

Also, drawing the spectators are documentary and cartoon films of the DPRK, Italy and Poland.

The audience was much impressed by films of various subjects.
