The competition, divided into marathon, half-marathon, 10km and 5 km running, drew amateur runners from the DPRK, China, the Netherlands, Mexico, Belgium, Sweden, Singapore and other countries.

Lots of men and women amateur runners ran along the course, starting outside Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace and being applauded by working people from all walks of life here and schoolchildren in the streets.

Participant certificates were conferred on the winners.
