The article noted that the ultra-right and ultra-left forces of south Korea are condemned by compatriots at home and abroad as they are making desperate efforts to prevent the trend of peace, prosperity and reunification by rejecting the ratification of the Panmunjom declaration at the "National Assembly".

The article blasted them for disregarding the historic significance of the Panmunjom declaration and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" provided by the top leaders of the south and the north.

It stressed that those declarations are the orientation to be taken by the Korean nation and an immediate task facing all the fellow countrymen.

Whoever is Korean should welcome and positively back those declarations for the peace and prosperity of the Korean peninsula, the article said.
