The "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" provided by the Supreme Leader is a new landmark for further accelerating the improvement of the north-south relations by honestly implementing the Panmunjom declaration in an all-round manner and for ushering in a new heyday of national reconciliation, unity, peace and prosperity and turning the Korean peninsula into the land of peace without nuclear weapons and free from nuclear threat, the letter said, and went on:

The "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" which gave all Koreans a new hope and dream and reflected the soul of the Koreans with a strong will to achieve national reunification will shine long in history as a great programme of the Korean nation for reunification along with the historic June 15 joint declaration, October 4 declaration and April 27 Panmunjom declaration.

The letter lauded the Supreme Leader as the sun of the Korean nation and the bright lodestar of national reunification guiding all Koreans to independent reunification by dint of the great national unity, by thoroughly implementing the great leaders' instructions for national reunification.

The letter stressed that the General Association of Koreans in China and all other Koreans in China would turn out as one in the struggle for paving a new avenue toward independent reunification, peace and prosperity in the spirit of By Our Nation Itself, bearing deep in mind the firm conviction that the cause of national reunification will be accomplished before long thanks to the Supreme Leader who represents the destiny and future of the Korean nation.
