Wreaths sent by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were seen on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were party and government officials Pak Kwang Ho, Thae Jong Su, Pak Thae Song and other officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, members of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee, officials of power organs, the cabinet, working people's organizations, commissions, ministries and national institutions, officials and working people of institutions and industrial establishments in the city and members of the armed forces organs including Ri Myong Su and Kim Su Gil.

Wreaths in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet were laid on the wreath-laying stands of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri, and a wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK on the wreath-laying stand of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery.

Laid before the cemeteries were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, commissions, ministries and national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions of science, education, public health and media, and Party and power organs, industrial establishments, universities and farms in the city.

The participants paid silent tribute to the martyrs and looked round the cemeteries.

On the same day wreaths were placed before the statues and cemeteries of the martyrs and memorial towers and graves of the fallen soldiers of the KPA across the country.
