You personally climbed Mt Paektu, the ancestral mountain associated with the spirit and soul of the nation, and held up hands with President Moon Jae In against the background of magnificent mountain peaks and clear and blue Lake Chon. This is the most famous scene in the history of the nation to go down forever along with Mt Paektu, and a solemn declaration to the world that it is the way the reunification comes.

Indeed, you, who put your pledges before the nation into practice without an inch of deflection and brought about the great results recorded as a brilliant chapter in the course of the development of the north-south relations and the efforts for peace and prosperity, are the peerless patriot and the great sage whom our fellow countrymen and the entire humankind praise and follow.
