The president welcomed the meeting and talks for peace and prosperity of the Korean peninsula held in Pyongyang between Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and President Moon Jae In.

He also supported the north and the south of Korea, the same nation, on their way to reconciliation, unity and cooperation and reaffirmed solidarity with the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government.
