Taking part in the contest, to be held at Kim Il Sung Stadium, Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and other stadiums and gymnasiums here from early October, will be working people from all walks of life, housewives, school youth and children and sportspersons selected from Pyongyang and all provinces(municipality).

Competitions will be made in four professional sports events including table-tennis and track and field, six mass sports events such as badminton, Taekwon-Do, Ssirum (traditional wrestling) and tug of war, and amusement games of two events.
