The chairperson of the Regional Social Organization of Russia "Borozino" said that today a climate of peace and stability has been created on the Korean peninsula thanks to the initiative and bold decision of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and that the international situation is under his control.

A vice-chairman of the Yangon Regional Executive Committee of the Myanmar's National League for Democracy said that the celebrations would be helpful to getting a better understanding of the DPRK and deepening the friendship and bonds between the two countries.

The secretary-general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association noted that President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK 70 years ago and led the socialist construction to victory and that Chairman Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a socialist fortress under the unfurled banner of Songun.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held by the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation, the German Group for the Study of Korean Culture, the German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association, the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK and the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association.
