Letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un from Congratulatory Group of Koreans in Japan

Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a letter from the members of a congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan on Sept. 19. They left here after attending the celebrations for the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK. The letter said the grand festival in celebration of the 70th birthday of the DPRK was a historic occasion as it showed once again the whole world how powerful is Juche Korea blessed with illustrious leaders from age to age and how rosy is its future. It noted that they were greatly honored to be summoned to the celebrations in September before others and besides, the Supreme Leader sent a congratulatory message with love to the officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and other Koreans in Japan on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the DPRK, a reminder of warm love shown by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and thus they enjoyed the greatest-ever privilege. It stated that during the stay in the homeland, they visited worksites for building an economic giant and improving the people's standard of living and workplaces flourishing in the spirit of self-reliance and by dint of science and technology, which made them look forward to the bright future of the country where the great leaders' patriotic wishes and desire for a powerful state have been translated into reality. It said they burst into tears of passion and joy looking up to the image of the outstanding Supreme Leader who arranged the historic Pyongyang summit meeting in September to open up a broad avenue to peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean peninsula and they could picture a solemn sunrise of a reunified country, a burning desire of the nation. The greatness of the Supreme Leader precisely means the dignity and glory of the DPRK, an invincible power, and holding him in high esteem more faithfully is fundamental to reunification and prosperity of the country, the letter said, adding that it is the immovable faith they bore deeper in mind during the visit to the homeland. |
