The spring water is free from virus contamination as it flows through a long layer of granite from its catchment area under the natural forest zone in the Masikryong Mountains.

As it is low in association degree with 7.2 in pH value and properly contains potassium, calcium and other mineral matters, it has the effects of anti-aging, removal of heart strain and digestive problems and restoration of energy. And its temperature is 8.5 degrees Celsius.

It was listed as a natural monument of the country in Juche 105 (2016).
