Rodong Sinmun says forest restoration is a patriotic work of eternal value and an important work that does not allow even a moment's delay.

The paper stresses the need to regard the forest restoration campaign as an important work related to the prosperity and development of the country, the prosperity of the future generations and the victory in the drive of building a socialist power, and to spur the forestation and its protection and management.

Forest restoration is a strategic task which should be constantly pushed forward.

Forest restoration is a challenging work which requires planting and growing saplings in wild natural conditions, and it is a long-term work which should be carried out year after year. We are just at the beginning in our forest restoration campaign now and so huge is the work to be done in the future. Approaching this work with momentary zeal or giving it up if faced with unfavorable conditions would make it hard to carry out the Party's plan to turn the country into thick woodland and greenery. And hundreds of times of more efforts may be needed for the forest restoration in the distant future. Therefore, this work should be pushed forward nonstop, and herein lies the victory in the forest restoration campaign.

Only when all the people plant even one more tree with patriotism and devote their sincere sweats and enthusiasm to growing it up, will it be possible to realize the Party's grand plan to turn the country into a beautiful socialist paradise and a land of golden tapestry in the era of the Workers' Party and bring eternal happiness to posterity to come.
