Chairman Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into an ideological pure entity and an integral organization supporting the idea and cause of the leader and into an invincible party leading the socialist cause to victory.

He also turned the WPK into a party with solid mass foundation and a genuine mother party making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.

He ensured that all the lines and policies reflected the aspiration and demand of the broad working masses, and policies for the good of the people were constantly enforced no matter how difficult the situation of the country was.

Under his wise guidance the WPK could bring about changes stunning the world in realizing the people's cause of independence as befits the powerful general staff of the revolution.

His party-building exploits will shine forever.
