Taking part in it were officials, teachers, researchers and graduate students from different units including Pyongyang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University, the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Agricultural Science, the Ryanggang Provincial Institute of Agricultural Science, Hyesan University of Agriculture and Forestry and the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory.

Presented to it were scores of valuable papers which have been conducive to increasing the potato production and solving the sci-tech problems arising in potato production and processing.

During the presentation, its participants had a lecture on the method of molecular diagnosing on potato germ and the temperature adjusting method for producing stock seed potato.

And they swapped successes and experience with each other while looking round the venue of the exhibition at which processed potato products and vegetable insecticide were presented by several units.
