The Chiba Prefectural People's Council for Japan-DPRK Friendship said:

We hail the historic meeting between the top leaders of the north and the south of Korea, the third of its kind in the year, and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" signed by them.

At the recent summit talks, the top leaders of the north and the south reconfirmed the principle of national independence and self-determination and expressed the will to realize the desire of all the fellow countrymen for leading the current development of the north-south relations to reunification through policy.

Seizaburo Ekuchi, representative of the Tokyo-Pyongyang Rainbow Bridge, paid respects to Chairman Kim Jong Un who is conducting energetic activities for peace of the Korean Peninsula and the world.

Fumihiro Himori, chairman of the Japan Committee for the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, said that the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" is the outcome of Chairman Kim Jong Un's energetic activities for peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean Peninsula, hailing the historic north-south summit and the publication of the declaration.

Kenki Nakamura, chairman of the Japan-Korea Society for Scientific and Educational Interchange, expressed the will to conduct brisk activities for supporting the implementation of the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" in Japan, saying that the inter-Korean relations would develop on a fresh high level thanks to the publication of the declaration.
