The message said that the foundation of the PRC was a historic event as it brought a fundamental turn in building a new life in China.

It also noted that world-startling great changes have been made in all fields of politics, economy, culture and science and technology for the past 69 years since the birth of the PRC.

It is the consistent stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government to further consolidate the traditional DPRK-China friendship generation after generation, the message said, expressing the belief that the cooperative relations between the fields of foreign affairs of the two countries would grow stronger today when a new history of the DPRK-China friendship is being made.
