Extending the warm congratulations and wishes on behalf of the Central Committee and all the members of the LPRP and the Lao people to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the Central Committee and all the members of the WPK and the fraternal people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK, the general secretary said in the message:

We are very rejoiced over the fact that under the experienced and bold leadership of the WPK headed by President Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il, the great preceding leaders of the Korean people, and Comrade Kim Jong Un, successor to the revolutionary cause, the fraternal Korean people have achieved great successes in all fields and enjoyed a rich and happy life with the strengthened political stability, national defence and security work of the country and the steady development of the economy for the past 73 years.

We are firmly convinced that the fraternal Korean people, under the tested and courageous guidance of the WPK, will continue to make great successes in national defence and all fields of building a powerful socialist country and realize the cause for peaceful reunification of the country with the tradition of the great army-people unity closely rallied around the Party Central Committee.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and great successes in his noble cause, hoping that the traditional and comprehensive relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties, governments and peoples of Laos and the DPRK would continue to strengthen.
