During the contest, schoolchildren selected at the schoolchildren's palaces and halls, primary schools, junior middle schools and senior middle schools in the field of general education across the country gave full play to their artistic abilities.

Its closing ceremony took place at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on Oct. 5.
