Kim Jong Il's Exploits Praised by British Organizations

| Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula issued a joint statement on October 1 ahead of the 21st anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). The statement said that Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the WPK was a reflection of the unanimous will of the Korean people. It noted that he is a leader who enjoyed boundless trust and support from the people. It pointed out that he firmly defended socialism from the imperialists' maneuvers by pursuing the original Songun politics. It said rapid development was made in all fields and the Korean people enjoyed a happy life when he led the WPK. It noted that his great exploits were successfully carried forward by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and they became a solid foundation guaranteeing the future of Korea. |
