Rodong Sinmun Blasts Sophism of Japanese Reactionaries

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries insisted on making a warship of the Japan Maritime "Self-Defense Force," flying "the flag of rising sun shedding rays", take part in the naval review on Jeju Island, which sparked off bitter condemnation and outrage at home and abroad. Japanese reactionaries including the Defense Minister Onodera clamored about "a symbol of sovereignty" and "a non-commonsensible and rude act" over the issue of opposing the flag-hoisting. And they claimed that they could not accept it.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary in this regard:

Such act of the Japanese reactionaries is an intolerable insult and mockery of the Korean nation and the international community.

Lurking behind such act is an arrogant intention to demonstrate before the international community that Japan is a state which can go to war and that it never gives up the old dream of "the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

The reality shows that it is a matter of time for the Japan "Self-defense Forces" to start a war for invasion of the Korean peninsula and other Asian nations in an attempt to realize the old dream under the flag.

Whether Japan participates in the naval review or not, the black-hearted intention of the military maniacs to reinvade the Korean peninsula and other Asian nations will remain unchangeable.
