Performance Given by Workers' Art Group of C.C., GFTUK

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- A performance was given by the Workers' Art Group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea at the Central Hall of Workers on Monday to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK.

Put on the stage that began with chorus "Glory to General" were such numbers as poem and tale "The Sun Is One" and mixed quartet "Everlasting Echo".

The performers lauded the party-building exploits of Kim Jong Il who developed the WPK into an invincible party with steel-like discipline and working efficiency and demonstrated the dignity and might of Juche Korea.

There were also numbers praising the mother party and representing the firm will of the Korean working class to share their fate with the party.

Among the audience were Ri Il Hwan, department director of the WPK Central Committee, and trade union officials and workers.
