Condolatory Visit to Vietnamese Embassy

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Officials of the DPRK paid a condolatory visit to the Vietnamese embassy here on Saturday and Sunday over the death of Do Muoi, former general secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of Vietnam. Among them were Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Hui Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Pak Kyong Il, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and chairman of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Association, Mun Jae Chol, vice-director general of the General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, Jong Yong Won, secretary of the C.C., Youth League, Kim Tong Son, vice-chairman of the C.C., General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, and Chae Chun Hui, vice-chairwoman of the C.C., Socialist Women's Union of Korea, and officials concerned. Laid before the portrait of the late were wreaths in the names of the WPK Central Committee, the Foreign Ministry, the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Association, the General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, the C.C., Youth League, the C.C., General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, and the C.C., Socialist Women's Union of Korea. The visitors observed a moment's silence in memory of the deceased and made entries in a condolence book. |
