Invited to the reception were the Chinese sports delegation led by Gou Zhongwen, minister of the General Administration of Sports, Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.

Present there were Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Ri Chang Gun, vice department director of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and sportspersons.
