After going round the monument in April, Lorena Pena, chairwoman of the Women's International Democratic Federation, said that the monument with three columns of hammer, sickle and writing brush represents the strategic idea of Chairman Kim Jong Il to invariably put forward workers, peasants and intellectuals as the support for the socialist state and defend them.

Members of a delegation of the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that they went round with deep emotion the monument splendidly built under the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Svend Haakon Jacobsen, international secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, said he came to know well that it is an important monument showing the history of the heroic struggle of President Kim Il Sung and the history of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Carmelo Suarez, general secretary of the Communist Party of the People of Spain, stressed that the monument demonstrates the revolutionary will of the Korean people and the WPK in a clear and intensive way and holds great attraction.
