Present there were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK), Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, Kim Chun Sik, secretary general of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, participants in the contest, and working people in the city.

Announced at the closing ceremony were the standings in events, the standings in cheering and the provincial total standings.

Pyongyang City, which came first, was awarded a rotating trophy cup of the 2018 Inter-provincial Mass Sports Contest.
