"3. Let Us Reunify the Country Independently and Peacefully", a part of the work "Report to the Sixth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea on the Work of the Central Committee" published on October 10, Juche 69 (1980), deals with the WPK's struggle for national reunification in the period under review and indicates the tasks for achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

It also advances a new reunification proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo (DFRK) on the basis of the three principles of national reunification and specifies the 10-point policy for the DFRK.

The work "Making Selfless, Devoted Efforts for the Good of the People Is the Mode of Existence and Source of Invincible Might of the Workers' Party of Korea", published on Oct. 10, Juche 104 (2015), clarifies that the history of the WPK is a proud course in which it has guided the Korean revolution to victory, bearing responsibility for the destiny of the people under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
