Watching the game were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Ri Su Yong, An Jong Su, Ri Yong Ho, Ro Tu Chol, Choe Hwi and other party and government officials and officials concerned.

Also among the spectators were the sports delegation of the People's Republic of China led by Gou Zhongwen, minister of the General Administration of Sports, Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials and Chinese guests.

The players of the two countries entered the playground.

In their speeches, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Kim Il Guk and Minister of the General Administration of Sports Gou Zhongwen expressed the expectation that the significant game would contribute to exchanging good techniques and experience between the sportspersons of the two countries and to demonstrating the bonds of DPRK-China friendship.

Men basketball players of the two countries held a joint game, divided into Friendship Team and Solidarity Team.

The game ended draw.

Choe Ryong Hae and other party and government officials, leading members of the sports delegation of China and the Chinese ambassador met those players who performed well and congratulated them.

The sportspersons of the two countries had a photo taken together in a joy of their exchanging diverse basketball technique and experience.
