Recently, the Korean Documentary and Science Film Studio produced three science films showing sci-tech achievements.

The film "AC Battery Car for Coal Mines" deals with the structure, character and advantage of newly-made battery car which needs less power, but is two times higher in transport capacity than existing DC electric car. It also introduces the Tukjang Area Coal Mining Complex where AC battery cars are proving effective.

Another film "Natural Chongsong Essence" explains about the extraction and efficacy of Chongsong essence with a fresh aroma of pine tree. Noting that the Chongsong essence is being highly appreciated at home and abroad, it calls for materializing the plan of the Workers' Party of Korea through the drive for developing science and technology with patriotism.

The other film "Experience Gained by Nampho City in Fish Farming" stresses that success in fish farming depends on taking advantages of geographical characteristics and breeding methods suited to specific conditions, citing the experience gained by the city in making fishpond, solving feed problem and applying mixed fish-breeding method.
