DPRK Embassy in Moscow Hosts Reception
Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The DPRK embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on Oct. 9 to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and the Russian Federation.

Present there on invitation were Igor Morgulov, vice foreign minister of Russia, members of the Federation Council, deputies to the State Duma, personages of the Ministry of Development of Far East, the Ministry of Extraordinary Situation, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Culture of Russia and others.

Kim Hyong Jun, DPRK ambassador to Russia, and staff members of his embassy were on hand.

The participants looked round photos documenting the feats President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il performed for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly and cooperative relations and the photos dealing with the revolutionary activities of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Speeches were made there.

The vice foreign minister of Russia said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the two countries have closely maintained friendly and good-neighborly relationship for the past 70 years.

He said that Russia would exert positive efforts to further develop cooperation of various forms such as bilateral cooperation with the DPRK, and wished the Korean people greater success in building a powerful country.
