At the ceremony speakers denounced the U.S. for hurling a stream of anachronistic remarks at a time when the people all over the world are welcoming the peace climate prevailing in the Korean peninsula.

They noted that they could not suppress their anger at the moves of the U.S. to keep the south and the north from solving the issue of the Korean peninsula and moving toward peace.

At the end of the ceremony the students held a photo exhibition for citizens, through which they exposed the crimes of GIs in south Korea, and distributed pamphlets calling for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.
