On display at its venue are 350-odd research findings and achievements in such forms of products, charts and models, presented by ministries, national institutions, science and education institutions and industrial establishments under all provincial people's committees.

During the exhibition, there will be an introduction of various kinds of finishing building materials and their production equipment and technical processes, a sci-tech presentation and a swap of new techniques and products.

Present at the opening ceremony were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Tong Jong Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jo Sok Ho, chairman of the Capital City Construction Commission, and officials, scientists and technicians of ministries, national institutions, relevant units, fields of science and education and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.

The exhibition will last until Oct. 19.
