Samir Diyab, chief of the Lebanese Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, in a statement on Oct. 7 noted that for the past over 70 years since its foundation, the WPK has wisely led the Korean people's struggle for defending their country's sovereignty and nation's dignity and building a prosperous state.

He pointed out that HE Kim Jong Il, the eternal head of the WPK, led the Party only to victory braving storm and stress of history.

Today the prestige of the WPK with HE Kim Jong Un as its leader has been radically strengthened, he stressed.

He sincerely wished the WPK progress and prosperity all the time.

John Zammit, chairman of the Malta-Korea Friendship Association, in a statement on Oct. 4 extended congratulations to the Korean people on the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK. He noted that on this occasion the Korean people are expressing boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung, the founder the WPK.
