Speakers talked about the theme of this year's World Food Day and noted that the event would become a good occasion in discussing measures for satisfying the daily-growing need for food.

They elaborated on the sustainable development of agricultural production, intake of necessary nutrition for human body and cooperation between the DPRK and international bodies.

Meanwhile, members of UNFAO, WFP, UNDP and UNFPA missions here planted memorial trees on October 15 on the occasion of the Day.
