Piano Concert Marks Anniversary of Establishment of DPRK-Poland Ties
Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- A piano concert took place at Kim Won Gyun University of Music on Tuesday to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Poland.

Among the audience were Pak Myong Guk, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ryu Kyong Il, vice-chairman of the Korea-Poland Friendship Association, officials concerned, a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland led by Pawel Milewski, director of the Asia-Pacific Department, Krzysztof Ciebien, Polish ambassador to the DPRK, members of his embassy, and staff members of foreign embassies and missions of international bodies here.

The concert was given by students of the university well-known in the musical circle of the world as they got excellent in the International Juvenile Chopin Piano Contest and other international concours.

Pianists were acclaimed by the audience as they played the works of the DPRK and Chopin successfully.

Earlier, the audience looked round photos introducing the architecture of Poland.
