Congratulating the 70th anniversary of establishment of DPRK-Mongolia diplomatic ties, the chairperson of the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group said:

The friendly relations, whose foundation was laid and developed by the preceding leaders of the two countries, are now steadily expanding.

The mutual visits paid by President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, and the preceding leaders of Mongolia on several occasions have proactively promoted the bilateral relations.

We hope that the traditional ties of friendship between Mongolia and the DPRK would be everlasting.

The inter-Korean summits and the DPRK-U.S. summit held this year are a great event recorded on a page of history.

We fully support the efforts of the DPRK for peace in the Korean peninsula and the region.

The advisor for Foreign Policy to the President of Mongolia said that they would value the 70-year-old history of diplomatic ties between the two countries and proactively cooperate to further boost them.

The roving ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia stressed the need for the younger generations to inherit the history of the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation.
