The Nepal-Korea Friendship Association said in a statement that the inter-Korean summit and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" are of weighty significance in achieving durable peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula and that they have been warmly hailed by the world people loving justice and progress.

Congratulating the successful inter-Korean summit, the Nepal Journalist Association said in its statement:

The Nepalese people fully support the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration".

They sincerely hope that the declaration would be thoroughly implemented to bring a permanent peace to the Korean peninsula.
